Tensile Strength: ~70 MPa
Impact Strength (Izod Notched): ~850 J/m
Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT): ~130-140°C
Light Transmittance: Up to 88%

Machining Guidelines:

Tools: Use sharp, 2-3 flute carbide end mills with polished flutes.
Cooling: Compressed air is critical to prevent heat buildup and material softening.
Feeds/Speeds: Use high speeds with moderate feed rates; avoid slow feeds that generate excessive heat.
Challenge: PC is prone to internal stress, which can lead to cracking, especially in transparent parts.

Post-Processing:

Annealing: Recommended to relieve internal stresses after machining.
Polishing: Can restore optical clarity.
Painting/Bonding: Readily accepts adhesives and paints.
